Missy and Puca

Missy and Puca

Your probably wondering what is Missy and Puca? Well they are both my favorite dogs in this whole entire world! My family and I went to a PetSmart one day because we were looking for a bunny, but everything changed when my dad saw this cute black ball of fur in the corner of a wall. This cute black ball of fur was so happy that everybody loved her instantly. We named her Missy, she is a Toy Poodle. Our other dog is Puca; she is a Teacup Yorkshire, very very tiny and incredibly adorable. We got her in Uruguay from my best friend Alejandro Martinez. Alejandro and I became great friends when our family lived in Uruguay.
Missy is very obedient. I don’t like to think why she is so obedient, but I believe my father smacked her around a lot when she was young. My dad and I taught her with a lot of patience how to sit. They didn’t smack her around for this. They smacked her around when she would pee or poo inside the house. It took our family around 6 months to finally get her to sit, pee and poo where she was supposed to and obey my father’s orders. We really do take good care of her and she seems to be a really happy pet. She is 12 years old and it is obvious how she still has a lot of energy and quality of life.
Puca is only 3 years old. At a young age Puca had many difficulties, when she was only a couple months old she could barely open her eyes or walk. Sadly her brothers and sisters died a couple weeks later. Puca was the only survivor, thank God she did. Puca’s obedience isn’t as good as Missy’s. Puca likes to poo and pee all over the house and we haven’t had much time to teach her anything. In addition, she is too small too to be smack around, so if she did something bad we couldn’t discipline her in that way. Over all, I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world because I love them very deeply, with all my heart. GODS SPEED! Merry Christmas.

My Secret Crushes?

My secret crushes?
There is this beautiful girl that I find to be very attractive. I see her in my English classroom almost every morning. She’s my sunshine; she wakes me up every morning, with her beautiful smile. I don’t know why it is so hard for us teen to say how we feel. I think I am better expressing my feeling when I write. But still, I can’t say her name. I don’t know if it’s because I’m scared of being rejected or it is because I’m scared that something could really happen. In the end I enjoy feeling this way.
She is smart, pretty, attractive, loving, intelligent, hardworking, friendly, gorgeous, sexy, authentic, spontaneous, sporty, organized, seductive, cool, outgoing, crazy and sweet like candy. I can say that I admire her sense of responsibility because she always gets her school work done on time. I like her style of dressing, I see it as original.  She is very athletic; I like how she swims in P.E. I also like when she laughs, it seems she’s having always a good time. I enjoy when she dances, she seems to be having a great time and it almost feels like she dances when nobody is looking. She is always happy. I like it how she is an international student and know many languages.
By the way ladies, I love more than one of you all. For me, all women are pretty. I have learned how to pay attention and highlight the strength of each one of you and at the same time forget your flaws.
Sincerely,
Papito mi rey.

New Home in Caracas, Venezuela

New Home in Caracas, Venezuela
Two weeks ago we arrived to our new apartment in Caracas, Venezuela. It’s located in las Lomas de los Campitos. When our family moved to Caracas the real estate agents from my parent’s jobs moved us in a little apartment in La Alameda. That apartment was only a temporary one while they found us a better one. When I went through the gate of the building I saw the beautiful view of the Avila Mountain. This building is located at the top of a hill. It has an incredible view.
As I entered the lobby I noticed a beautiful painting of a naked woman. The floor is made of marble and it is so shiny that I can see the reflection of my face. There is wood around the corner of the walls which gives it a poetic touch. I felt like in a hotel because there was music in the elevator. Once the elevator opened and I saw the huge living room of my new apartment I felt so delighted that I kissed my dog in the mouth!
Our new apartment is probably three times bigger than our last one and in perfect conditions. Suddenly my mom pulls me by the arm and takes me to the kitchen which is probably as big as the living room in our last apartment and then takes me to my room. I was so emotionally struck that I wanted to cry. I had never had a walk-in closet or an individual bathroom. My parents also had put up my Christmas present for me in my room, a 25 in. LCD Sony television connected to my X-Box 360 and computer.  I gave my parents a big hug and said thank you for this awesome present! I ran all over the house and jumped in my parent’s bed because I was so happy!
For the last weeks we haven’t had a maid and I’ve been helping my parents with the house chores and I feel awesome!

My First Kiss

My First Kiss
                Reader’s discretion advised.
I was living in Alexandria, Virginia studying as a new student in the seventh grade. It was March, the middle of the school year. I remember like it was yesterday. It was the 17th of March on a chilly afternoon. Her name is Paola. We rode the bus together. That day I was with my friend Sam, we were walking home together with Paola.
As we were walking Sam mother passes by and pick him up to take him to a doctor’s appointment.  From then on Lindsey and I were alone walking side by side. We were chatting about who we liked or thought was pretty in our grade. Then we both mentioned our names. Actually she said that she thought I was cute and then I said I thought she was cute. I wasn’t expecting anything like this would happen. When we arrived to the bus stop I took out some candy. I remember they were fruits snack and I put one in my mouth. Then asked if she wanted one? I was doing this like a joke. It wasn’t for real. But the joke was that if she wanted one she would have to grab it with her mouth from my mouth. I honestly and truly wasn’t thinking she would do it.
She said: “You are dirty boy” and she came up to me and we shared the candy. I’m almost positive that it wasn’t her first kiss but I had a great time! I will always remember her and stay in contact with such and interesting girl.

Shattered Arm

Shattered Arm
I was in P.E. class practicing volleyball. It was in 7th grade and our teacher had gone to the rest room for a while. It’s hard to believe but I was a lot more immature and menace in those days. When the teacher had left the class it was an excellent opportunity for goofing off. I thought it would be a great idea and we would have a lot of fun laughing if I grabbed the volleyball with my hands, sneaked up behind my friend Matias and kicked the volleyball with all my might in his bottom.
Things didn’t turn out how I expected them to. My aim was totally off and accidently hit his arm. I had kicked the ball so hard that the impact actually broke Matias’ arm. At first I thought he was joking because how could volleyball break someone’s arm? But as soon as I realized he was really crying and everyone in the class came up to him to check if he was alright I realized what a bad decision I had taken.  I felt really bad because when he was in pain and though he was joking I was making fun of him.
I learned many lessons that day. One of the most important ones was that I’m not supposed to mess around in class. Even though I learned this I don’t know why I still keep messing around in class. I obviously reduced the amount of immaturities I do in classes and also their intensity. I got really scared and will probably never do something like that ever again.

Future Plans

My dream is to graduate from ECA, and join West Point Military Academy for 5 years. At West Point, I want to build leadership skills and show people that I can lead as a U.S army Officer. I want to join the Army Football team and join the Golden Knights Skydive team as well. As I mentioned in my previous blog, I want to become a skydiving instructor. I want to be the top of my team, and show my friends, family members and teachers that I can become a Military officer. I know that the first years at West Point will be very harsh, because the instructors push you to the limit; I think I’ll be ready for anything because I have grown up in a Military family that pushed me and helped me reach my goals.
My vision is to graduate West Point, and become an Infantry soldier. I would like to become Airborne and be stationed in Fort Benning Georgia, because as a child I loved that place. Later I would like to start a family when I’m 26 years old; by the time I’m 30 I would like to have 3 children. If they ever call me to go to war, I would never deny it, because I would offer my allegiance to the United States of America to always serve and protect it.
Family for me is very significant, because it’s what unites people. As I said before, I was always around military men. My dad was very strict with academics and doing chores. I believe this could help me with my goals at West Point because I could be mentally and physically solid and effective. I plan on getting the rank of a one star General and at the end of my carrier I would like… TO BE CONTIUNED.

Christmas Plans

This Christmas my family and I are going to Panama for 3 weeks, it has been about four years since the whole family goes to Panama together. We are planning to go on the 17th of December. When we arrive to Panama I would like to do many things like surf, hang out with my family and then with my best friends, I would also like to go to the beach, shop around the malls, I would even like to help my grandfather’s with the business he is starting.
My cousins from Florida will arrive two days before me; they can show me all the cool things they have done without me. My best friend Donovan is the coolest guy, we have a lot of things in common like surfing, skateboarding, he does street and I do gravity in the skateboard discipline. These are only a few but very important things that Donovan and I have in common. I hope that in Panama we see each other a lot, but anyways, the most important thing I want to do in Panama is spend quality time with the family; help my grandmother cook around Christmas Eve and wrap presents for my little brother and cousins.
After sharing and spending quality time with my family, Donovan and I are going to hit some of the best surfing spots in Panama like Playa Teta, Playa Malibu, and Playa Palmera. In Playa Palmera I want to camp at the beach, wake up and surf for 3 days nonstop, it would be the best experience ever. Once my fun is over I want to have some quality time with my cousins, they are two girls and in my whole life I haven’t been too close to them, I feel that I want to get to know them better. But then again they are my cousins and I need to get to know them so in the future we can have a close relationship as a family.
Things I plan to do with them will probably include play games, sports like soccer because I always knew that Elena was really good at it, and a lot more. All in all I plan to just have a great time with family members and friends.

Free Falling

Skydiving in Panama,
When I grow up my hobby is to go around the world, especially Panama and jump out of airplanes. Why do I want to pick this as my hobby? Because I like the acrobatics that the skydivers do during the overwhelming sensation of free fall and because of the adrenaline rush they feel when they are about to exit the aircraft.
As a small child my father would come home and start packing his parachute for his daily jumps for the U.S Army; he would always put some skydiving videos so I could watch them with him. When I started crawling as a young baby I would copy the same moves that the skydivers did on the videos. The main move I practiced was the “arch” and I would never stop doing it. The “arch” is the most important position for a safe and stable free fall flight of our bodies.
The closest I have ever been to skydiving is flying in the wind tunnel in North Carolina when I was 12 years old. My father took me with my cousins, we had to take a safety test and learn the cool moves skydivers did. When it was my turn up in the wind tunnel I threw my body in how the instructor told me to and meanwhile he held on me. I would float up inside the tunnel with him, I was in the tunnel for at least 15 min. When I got out I felt like a bird. The wind tunnel has been one of the best experiences of my life.
Like I said before, I want to become a skydiver and have at least 1,000 jumps and after that I want to become an instructor and teach young teenagers how to jump safely. As I grow older I know I’ll get much more anxious to skydive, but before I die I want to skydive with my tutor and friend Alex Hamilton who is a skydiver himself. Blue skies!

Playa Mauri

Playa Mauri August 2, 2010,
Leaving the beach house with My Uncle Jose had an amazing party last night with a couple girls. We arrive at semi pro suffer Omar Gonzalez house at 3:00am tired as heck, we crash there for 2 hours then we meet up with some other surfers. We stop at Los Pueblos in Panama and have breakfast, and then we take off for a 4 our trip to Playa Mauri. When we arrived to Playa Mauri we had to park the cars 4 miles away from the beach site, because the terrain was really bad for the cars to get throw, so on when we were getting ready to head out to the beach, Omar Gonzalez told me “ur not going to be needing sandals!” I ask Omar why? He told me that theirs lot of rocks and puddles of mud that suck Ur sandals of your feet and you’ll never find them back. After he told me that I was afraid to even walk! Nevertheless I said to myself “no pain no game!” as so I had to march with the other surfers.
As we were walking we encountered “BULLS” it was one of the scariest things that have happen to me. My uncle just told us to stay calm and not to run we did as he said, but as we kept on walking we meet up the female bull, she must had to way at least 1000 pounds. She did her kicking back thing and charged, oh my gosh! I took off running bare footed in the middle of a jungle. I soon looked back I said to myself I ‘am gone from the bull, nevertheless I ask myself where’s my uncle and he’s friends, nowhere to be found! As I stay where I ‘am at I start to scream for help and my uncle appears in the bushes. We give each other a hand shake and move forward, as where approaching Playa Mauri we remember that there has been a big flood in Playa Marui for 4 days. Leading us to cross it to get to Playa Mauri it was like a lagoon the dirty water was as high to my neck I was scared that there where alligators or some kind of snake in the water.
As soon as we got out of the lagoon, Playa Mauri was right there in front of my eyes I wanted to just jump in and starts surfing, but nevertheless I couldn’t because we had to stretch, study the waves, and get hydrated. It took us 45 minutes to finish all of that silly junk; the current that day was really strong hardest beach I’ve ever surfed in my life. All the semi pros where already pass the current and in the deep end of the ocean while I was still in the middle of the ocean trying to duck under the waves, but as soon as I got to the deep end; the waves started kicking in, one after another. I was like a bird flying in the sky’s best experience ever, but that bird has to take a break just like me. As I was paddling out a big current was pulling we to another area of the beach where I shouldn’t have been. So my uncle and Oscar help push me out, but out of nowhere Oscar says bail out meaning he’s leaving, an enormous wave picks my uncle and I and flips us over. I get tangled with my uncle’s leash causing me not get a breath of air; but my uncle makes a risky move taking of he’s leash letting he’s bored free. When I take my first breath of air I ‘am already at shore. I thank God that I ‘am alive on shore and telling my story, but at the same time a get really piss when I see my broken surf bored and my Uncles new bored that cost hem 500 dollars and the result to all of these is we can’t surf the whole entire day. As I always say “No pain no game”.

Surfing time in Panama

Panama is preferred by many Panamanians and International surfers around the world. Why because Panama offers the surfing experience of having both the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean on both sides. So on, these allows local surfers and international surfer’s to take advantage of the current weather and wave condition’s, example if the waves on the Pacific side are low and the wind is too high, you always have another option to surf on the Pacific side.
Know I ‘am going to write about frequently visited surf spots in Panama, one off the best surf spots in Panama is Playa Malibu it is located in Gorgona, Panama. It has one off the best waves on the western part of Panama I recommend that new comers that are coming into surfing should not go there; because when the winds are just right and the waves are high it creates very fast waves causing a lot off force.
Second best wave in Panama is called Playa Teta; it is located in Punta Barco, Panama. More Panamanians prefer to go Playa Teta then International suffers because the Panamanians like to have their own beach for them self’s. Playa Teta has excellent waves, the point brakes over a rocky bottom, and produces a right and left break to exit out of the wave without going back to the shore.
